- Dynasty Electric Cars -
 Dynasty Electric Vehicle is a prominent designer and manufacturer of zero emission electric low speed vehicles. They market their vehicles to the consumers in urban areas as well as to those who need a practical low emission vehicle for recreational and commercial applications. Resorts, gated communities, and corporate complexes are all target markets for Dynasty’s products.
Originally based in British Columbia, Dynasty has been producing their IT LSV’s since 1999 and their sedan models since 2001. 35 states in the US allow this type of vehicle to be driven on slow speed residential area streets. The max speed of the Dynasty models is 25 mph and they are equipped with standard automotive features like wipers, turn signals, mirrors, lights, and safety belts.
 The advanced look and design of the IT line makes it stand out on the street. Despite appearances, they are surprisingly hefty at about 1450 lbs total curb weight. A version of the IT was seen on the Sci-Fi TV channel on the series Eureka. The cars depicted in the show were covered with solar panels for effect, but the actual cars are not solar powered. In the UK there are versions of the IT series cars available with a faster top speed of 35-40 mph.
These vehicles are currently available in test markets to compete with similar models offered by rival manufacturers. Dynasty is currently owned by a Pakistani car company and the manufacturing facilities will eventually all be based in Lahore. There are IT’s available in both 2 and 4 seat plans as well as van and pickup truck models. Some models are also equipped with right hand drive for European markets.
